Mobile, AL’s Yung Bleu is a rare breed. He is young rapper with a brooding voice and innate ability to form melodies paired with his street reputation and enormous cult following, and several times sounds like Kevin Gates with a beautiful singing voice. Bleu’s latest offering is a short EP titled “Bleu Money,” and the project is highly impressive for an artist so young. After graduating from the usual topics of guns, drugs, and all other ancillary facets of street life, Bleu decided to attack more adult topics like relationships, reputation, sex, and heartbreak. I am very glad he did.
Bleu’s flow and singing voice are marvelous and his ability to create different tones and flows, and masterfully interchange them is remarkable for an artist of such a young age. Check out this latest EP if you are unfamiliar, I highly recommend it.
