Not everyone’s new year is off to a great start. Rising talent YNW Melly has apparently been charged with two misdemeanor counts of marijuana possession. It should be noted that the charges stem from less than twenty grams of the substance and likely won’t result in a major charge, however, Florida is known to hand out harsher sentences than most states for marijuana-related offenses. Melly, however, doesn’t seem phased, uploading a picture of his mugshot and promising to be out before his tour kicks off later this month. Melly’s album We All Shine is due out January 18th. He seems excited.
