Anthony Martinez aka Deaf Steady Rock is an up and coming artist based in San Diego, CA. Born in San Franciso, Deaf Steady moved to southern California at a young age where he was raised by extended family and began making music at the young age of 13. He found inspiration all around him and was encouraged his family and crew, Palm Avenue. In 2011 he released his first mixtape, Black Jeep & Roses which established him as a force to be reckoned with in the San Diego music scene. Following the buzz created after his debut he quickly released his sophomore project, California Rolling Stone in 2012 . After the establishment of his label, SUAV, Deaf Steady released his third mixtape, AMEN which showcases the culmination his hardwork and progressive unique and smooth sound. This project has rapidly been gaining attention in California and was recently featured in The Source Magazine’s weekly segment “Support Your Local Rapper.” Check out the visual for his lead single, “French Toast & Moët” below.
