With two singles already released in 2019, buzzing Los Angeles-based artist Watrcup is thrilled to announce yet another drop this Valentine’s Day. His song “Venus“ discusses a topic everyone can relate to, rocky relationships.
The 21-year-old rapper, singer, and songwriter showcases his versatility on the record, introducing a sound that is sure to bridge the gap between pop and hip hop audiences. “Venus” will accompany “Saturn” featuring Steven Cannon of Xanarchy and “Mars” as the third planet to his collective playlist where each song will take listeners to a different planet in Watr’s mind.
An especially meaningful song to Watr, he says his goal for the track is to evoke a feeling of comfort in solidarity. He wants people to know that it’s okay to be alone and if you love someone, sometimes it’s best to move on. “I want people to be assured that being without love isn’t the end,” he told us.
