At long last, Towkio comes out the gates swingin’ with an infectious new single in the form of “Drift.” Acting as his first release in a number of months, the Chicago artist looks to build anticipation for his forthcoming full-length WorldWideWave with the pulsating rhythms found in the new single below.

Shipping down to Mexico with director Todd Burr to shoot the extravagant visuals, Towkio proves his creative vision on both wax and film as he co-directs the highly entertaining music video. Featuring a handful of drifting whips, dust-making dirt bikes and a fuckin’ hot air balloon, this has gotta be one of the most over-the-top visual treatments of the year and I’m all about it.
