Chicago artist Warhol.SS started off the year strong with the release of the video for “Options” in February. He makes a return with a visual for “Wake Up” an intoxicating, atmospheric track where he raps over a snappy arrangement of somber strings and punchy drums, rhyming “moonwalking perkys put me in the mood” / “Alexander Wang mix it with McQueen”. His flow on this track is seamlessly smooth and the watery LONEWOLF directed visuals compliment the hypnotizing, hazy production. This track is filled with quotable lines about girls and drugs that are flawlessly executed, Warhol.SS raps extremely well and is captivating from start to finish.
