He shines with his trademark upbeat energy as well as his penchant for melodies on his track “Hold Me Down.” The instrumental has a shimmering cosmic quality that is accented by dynamic, in-your-face production that allows this emotional and reflective track to be as exciting as it is introspective. nbsp;
He is joined by Jourdan Pauline whose falsettos accent Fontaine’s vocals wonderfully, adding her unique perspective to the track. On “Lesson Learned,” Fontaine gravitates to the same type of southern-fried acoustic production that artists like Rod Wave or NoCap have perfected, but Fontaine’s vocals and delivery lean more towards a glossy-trap style.
