On the evening of Sunday, November 12th, Cousin Stizz was scheduled to perform at the Masquerade in Atlanta, Georgia as part of his ‘One Night Only Tour.’ Before the Boston rapper was able to take the stage, violence broke out in the crowd, killing two concertgoers and injuring an additional two.
Police say the shooting was targeted at the two deceased, one of which was pronounced dead after being transported to the hospital. The injured are both expected to survive, and Atlanta law enforcement continues to search for the gunman.
In reaction to the events, Coustin Stizz tweeted “Before I hit the stage in Atlanta tonight, there was a shooting in the crowd, two people died and two others were injured. I’ve always called my shows family reunions, because they’re never anything but fun, safe, good vibes and positivity. I’m in shock and at a loss for words for the senseless violence. My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families.”
