Trippie Redd isn’t doing so bad nowadays. The 18-year-old Ohio native has been blowing up over the course of the past year, starting with the success of his breakthrough single “Love Scars” in the early Summer of 2017.

The Quality Control signee was recently supposed to appear alongside Drake on his hit single “God’s Plan,” but missed a deadline and was therefore cut from the record-breaking track. There’s no question that Trippie’s name would’ve exploded with a co-sign from the OVO bossman, but the red-haired youngin’ seems to be staying optimistic.

When Drake posted a photo on set of the “God’s Plan” music video earlier today, a fan commented and tagged Trippie saying, “@TrippieRedd you missed a MASSIVE opportunity.”

Redd responded by humbly writing, “You right I’m not gone be salty about it tho I got plenty of time to have the opportunity again.”

It’s good to see Trippie in high spirits despite the missed opportunity to feature on one of Drake’s most hyped songs t0-date. Stay tuned for a possible collaboration from 1400/OVO in the future.
