A lot of aggressive energy coming from Boston rappers lately, huh. After Logic and Joyner Lucas had strong years, 2019 is being set ablaze by Toniii. He, along with King Los, recently dropped off their single “On Everything” and it certainly conveys the attitude that seems to be brewing in Massachusetts – the rap game is due for a change.
It’s bars galore in this four minute lyrical festival. Wordplay, cockiness and content all weave together into a booming motivational track. “Not for the games nigga, I really don’t play, Fuck a piece of pie, Man I want the whole thing.” They aren’t here just a portion of success or the throne, but they’re coming for it all.”
There’s a horde of slick, Instagram worthy quotes in this song. “Handing out L’s, I’m in my element,” “Barely mentioning my accolades because I’m nowhere near where I wanna take it,” and of course “Niggas don’t want it, I put that on everything.” I can see the Boston squads drafting it up for the peak picture posting time now.
If Boston rap isn’t on your radar, it’s not too late but act fast. There’s sure to be more heat coming from these two. Press play on this new track, “On Everything.”
