The Weeknd just dropped his animated music video for “Snowchild.” The record finds Abel reflecting past, addressing his past vices like drugs and women that wanted before the fame. The slang term “snow” is a subtle nod to cocaine, referencing The Weeknd's past addiction to drugs. It's produced by DaHeala and Illangelo, with The Weeknd assisting on production.

"I was singing notes while my niggas played with six keys / Walking in the snow before I ever made my wrist freeze," he sings. The record arrives off of After Hours, which is praised by many critics as one of the better releases this year. Check out "Snowchild" below.
