Chicago-based rap duo The Lil People continue to ease their way into the rollout of their Randemic 2: Pandemic album with their coupe-ready “Sh*t About” visual.
With scenes panning from the front seat of clean sports car to the rugged avenues of the cityscape views, “Sh*t About It” elevates the pair of rappers' already grandiose and flexy moves while personifying the bare-knuckle-brawler bars Weasel Sims and Jae Haze hurl back-and-forth over the beat.
The video for “Sh*t About It” underscores the duo’s fever-pitch work ethic in 2021, which has resulted in multiple bangers including their breakout “Tesla Stocks” featuring Detroit rising star Icewear Vezzo.
In an Instagram post last week, Jae Haze assured listeners The Lil People plan to keep their foot on the gas to end 2021, revealing Coke Raps 2 would be arriving soon enough — even though they released the first edition of the project months ago.
“RANDEMIC 2 #out #now #linkinbio Jae Haze The Maverick!!! #comingsoon Me n My Dawg @illcity2 Got Some Free Smoke Cooking Coke Raps 2 Next Year !! Put The Work In My Niggas This Is A True Blessing #linkinbio,” Haze wrote in the caption.
