Two Norwegian artists, both from Oslo, Young Cisto and Yung Woods, have teamed to make the most energetic, chill-hip song you'll ever hear. 'Luv Killer' angelically illuminates Cisto's perspective on having the perfect companion at the wrong time, and how it left the artist in a workaholic trance for days, resulting in a new fresh and unique sound which the pair transform into lyrical therapy, just for your ears to consume.
With Valentine's Day coming, whether you’re single or not, it's time to put our romantic hats on. Thank me later, because your new binge-worthy love song will be put out before you know it. Whether you're out on a cheeky date or staying in and drinking your weight in wine, “Luv Killer” is the new go-to song you need on your playlist.
The story behind 'Luv Killer' follows a younger Cisto who is partying in a club with no expectations other than to have a good time and make memories. Cisto, then meets a young woman with whom he spends a few hours getting to know and like. When the young curious pair fall in love, they, like many others, set up a date. They ultimately fall in love and have the time of their lives; everything is beautiful, the world is wonderful, and nothing can ever separate these young lovers.
After a few months, Cisto's soulmate is offered a fantastic opportunity to study in San Francisco; they talk things over and tell each other that long distances can work, and that's all there is to it.
However, as the weeks and months pass, things get difficult for them. With the time difference of 9 hours between Norway and LA, when Cisto was waking, his girlfriend was going to sleep so regular calls were not a thing for this pair. Constantly trying to break down barriers to speak to your loved one ends up leaving you emotionally drained and no matter how much you may love the other person its not sustainable for every couple so they decide to call it quits. Cisto is now a single man and he knows of only one place where he can drown his sorrows!
No, not the bar. The studio. Cisto's world had been destroyed; all he had known had been ripped away from him, but there was one thing he knew would never leave him. His music.
Cisto retreats into his home studio so he can live, breathe and sleep everything music, not leaving the house for 3 days. While in the studio a wave of depression follows cisto, never leaving his side, his mind was constantly playing tricks on him making him think he wanted her and then he didn’t the next, until he decided he needed to kill this feeling of love.
He would become the Love Killer!
This idea sprung into Cisto’s mind like a lightning bolt from the Greek Gods and from there Cisto poured his heart out in the mic. Hours flashed by and now he had ‘Luv Killer’, a representation in sound of the end of a relationship, a relationship that will never come back to life!
These powerfully diverse artists enlighten you on a whole new experience of a break-up song, with Yung Wood’s being inspired by the likes of Juice Wrld, Lil Peep and XXXTENTACTION and Young Cisto being named the Norwegian “Yung Thug” this is without a doubt a release date you need to make a reminder for, so ladies and gents’ 14th of February be ready.
