South Side Chicago based experimental producer Beng Fang (Eddie Yang) and vocalist The GTW (Akaninye “James” King) of the art collective Saturday Youth, reworked Gwen Stefani’s classic synthy slow jam ‘Luxurious’ into an upbeat dance party track called, “Blak Lux”, that can move trap loving hipsters in Wicker Park as well as garage and trip-hop fans in the UK. The GTW and Beng Fang are preparing for the spring release of the EP, #4814, produced by Beng Fang and will show the duo’s range from trip-hop to kwaito and electro-soul.
