Jazz, soul, hip-hop, & electronic are common genres throughout most of us music lovers’ catalogues. One must know how exciting it is to stumble upon those who know how to evenly distribute elements of those genres throughout their own music. Switzerland-bred beat maker & producer, Melodiesinfonie, is one of my favorite examples to use when speaking about this specific musical concept. Beginning the rest of his life in music back in February of 2011 on an SP-404SX sampler, improvisation would later shape the sonic landscape wherein he now resides – heavy in the realms of experimental territory.

Coming across hit albums like 2016’s Be Thankful & 2018’s Sictexotica IV, his sound has remained concrete & consistent throughout the years. Although his previous releases can be geared more toward hip-hop, his latest single “Ensnared” redefines the jazz & soulful elements he’s adapted and mastered over time. If there’s on thing you can take away from his music, let it be this: music is a spiritual language. It’s much larger than all of us. It transcends all of space and time, & connects us with other souls near or far. With that being said, music is meant to bring humanity together through positivity & love – Melodiesinfonie communicating exactly that in each track that he releases.
