All I ever asked was you to pick up the phone when you alone.

Summer Walker is back with a new single “Playing Games” produced by London On Da Track. Written by Anthony Robinson, Cameron Griffin, Kendall Roark Bailey, London Holmes and Summer Walker, “Playing Games” predates her new album Over It via LVRN/Interscope Records.

After Drake jumped on her song “Girls Need Love,” Summer Walker’s presence was sort of stamped in the lane she creates within. Again, the singer reflects disdain for the extravagant and adoration for the simple in her music. She has become known for these sentiments. Even as she interpolates Say My Name by Destiny’s Child, she is wholly herself as a vocalist, stretching the lyrics like chewing gum.
