ShooterGang Kony releases visuals for “The Game”. Right off bat this video is super dope. It has an old video game theme which I always think is cool. It is being used a lot lately, but when executed right it brings shine to a music video. The acting in the video is great too, it gives us a storyline which to me is a necessity in a music video. The song features Kalan.frfr who always makes bangers with his melodic / west side sound. He did not disappoint on this. Shootergang Kony’s wordplay is solid and his delivery is strong and clear. Kony is known for his hardened street raps but “The Game” shows his lighter side as he delivers romantic bars over bouncy West Coast production. Overall, this song is a groove. It’s worth a listen from everybody.
