Virginia-raised singer Shann is back with her new FULMETALPARKA$ produced single, Same Page, where she's questioning her relationship status with her significant other. If you couldn't tell by the name, Shann is trying to figure out if the two are on the same accord. Both of them offer subtle imperfections but there's still affection there. The song is a passionate interlude where she croons over mistakes made. Drunken arguments inspired by "sober thoughts" have created a rift between the two and while it isn't their only problem, it is the most recent. nbsp;

Last year, Shann took the underground R&B scene by storm when she dropped her first single Better under the DMV-based label, No Wifi Music Group. The record was very well received, managing to catch the attention of Pusha T's Norfolk-based -- Heir Wave Music Group label -- where it premiered on their first playlist. It's safe to say that she stayed productive in the time that she took off between releasing these records. nbsp;

This just speaks to why I believe that R&B is in a great space right now. It's about feeling, passion, love, loss, and truth. In this instance, the Virginia songstress could easily be one of us.
