If you aren’t in Miami this weekend for the 3rd annual Rolling Loud music festival, you’re missing out. Dope Entertainment curated an absolutely lethal lineup and is helping prove to the world that rap music is taking the fuck over. Every relevant artist in hip-hop will be hitting one of the Bayfront Park stages sometime this weekend, and Friday proved to be one hell of a kickoff for the anticipated event. Feauturing performances from The Underachievers, Curren$y, Mac Miller, A$AP Rocky, Rich Chigga, Larry June, Flatbush Zombies, Lil Yachty, Lil Wayne & more, the inaugural night of Rolling Loud 2017 was one to remember. Keep reading below to watch some insanely lit footage captured by concertgoers and check back tomorrow for Saturday’s recap!

A$AP Rocky brings out XXXTentacion & Lil Yachty

Lord Pretty Flacko was headlining the Postmates stage last night and brought out some friends to help him close out the day. Buzzing Florida rapper XXXTentacion is set to hit the stage today at 7pm, but decided to turn shit up early as he performed his viral smash “Look At Me!” during Rocky’s set. Shit, even Lil Yachty was getting turnt and went crowd surfing during the performance. The entire crowd was fuckin’ loving it and I can’t wait to see the moshpits during X’s solo set this evening.

Rich Chigga performs in America & debuts XXXTentacion collab

Viral sensation Rich Chigga made his debut performance in the United States yesterday and though some Twitter users were chirping about the set, he killed it. Performing to a crowd full of people that only know you as a face from a YouTube video is a difficult task, and Chigga certainly did his thing. The Indonesian rapper even previewed a new collaboration with XXXTentacion, which I imagine will be surfacing online within the next few weeks. Visa problems are preventing the rapper formally known as Brian Immanuel from embarking on a US tour this summer, but I’m confident that he’ll be back in the States & on the road in no time.

Lil Yachty joins crowd in “Fuck Joe Budden” chant & delivers an unforgettable set

Lil Boat is ’bout to embark on a huge tour and if his set at Rolling Loud is any indication, the shows are gonna be hype as shit. Following a widespread interview with Joe Budden earlier this week, the young Atlanta rapper seemed to enjoy the “Fuck Joe Budden” chant initiated by the monstrous crowd. Delivering energetic performances of hit songs “iSpy”, “Minnesota” & more, the 19 year-old spread a ton of positivity and proved why he’s one of the most talked-about rappers in the game.

Lil Wayne headlines the Monster Stage

The undeniable force known as Lil Wayne was slated to headline the first day of Rolling Loud and came through with an especially memorable set. Featuring fireworks and an array of platinum hits, this set proved to be one of the best performances of the night and convinced all in attendance that Weezy is a fucking legend.
