We’ve covered Vancouver artist Mcevoy a ton of times on the site, and we’re happy to feature him again today, as he’s dropped a soulful, propulsive new track.

With a sound reminiscent of Khalid‘s, “In The Dark” exists in a hybrid lane. It blends R&B tones and electronic production, and it carries a slightly plodding, slightly dreamy (pop) feel throughout.

As the first track of his this year (and the first from an upcoming EP), we have much to look forward to from Mcevoy, and we’ll certainly be listening to this new track below while waiting for more later in the year.
