After the release of his 2018 mixtape ‘Kold Face Kold Kase,’ Orlando, FL. based rapper GlokkNine has had the streets of Florida on fire. The young rapper recently released a video for his buzzing single “JailHizeeBluez” and as it is beginning to rack up views on YouTube, he is back today with a new video for “Crayola,” produced by DZY.  

With Florida’s trap-star Kodak Black potentially facing substantial prison time after a police home raid in January, the streets of The Sunshine State may be beginning to look for a new wave of rap stars. With YNW Melly’s latest release garnering 4 million views in under a month, and GlokkNine’s debut mixtape racking up an impressive amount of daily plays on SoundCloud and other mixtape hosting sites, we may be beginning to see the next generation of Florida’s rap stars emerging. Only time will tell, but with the consistency that GlokkNine has had during 2018 so far – it doesn’t seemed far fetched that he will be a major name in the South by the end of the year.
