Ever since the rise of artists like Lil’ Uzi Vert, Lil Peep (R.I.P.) and more, the mania of Emo-Rap has taken on a life of its own. Derivative of both emotion Punk Rock music and underground SoundCloud Rap, Emo-Rap is now a legitimate sub-genre that kids are beginning to make incredible music under. One of those guys is rising Stroudsburg artist, Avely, who after a few buzzing videos, drops off his new project, Friday in Hell.
At 5-tracks, Friday in Hell is incredibly short, clocking in at 13-minutes. Despite this, the ride never seems cut-off, instead of leaving you with a feeling of wanting more, a perfect feat for an EP. With the cohesiveness of the project being it’s calling card, as well as the short length, Friday in Hell is crafted to be listened to front-to-back and not any other way.
