We’re back with another installment of our songs of the week series, and this week’s group is rich with upcoming talent from all across the country. Aside from the usual suspects like smokepurpp and Solomonilla, we have a couple new faces to the ELEVATOR pages.

Without further ado, check out this week’s best shit that we were listening to:

Solomonilla // Pistol Pete

@solomonilla

Solomonilla is back just a month removed from his 99 Overall project with more fire in the form of “Pistol Pete.” Produced by meltycanon, Solo takes flight on his verses, using his quickfire flow to deliver some potent rhymes and lines over the bubbly production. It’s the first installment of his NBA EP which will be a three-part series, with each song honoring a different legend of the league. Be on the look out for more from this cat soon.

Ron Gram$ // Southside

@RONGRAMSMUSIC

Ron Gram$ has been dropping some fye shit for awhile, but recently let loose his best record yet in the form of “Southside.” It’s a booming, speaker-rocking banger from the Maryland native, who impresses once again with his high-energy flows and catchy hook. Overall, it’s a very strong showing from the rising teen, who’s put together a pretty great campaign in 2016.

C.R.I.M.E. Children // Phone Tag

@crimechildren

C.R.I.M.E. Children crash land on the ELEVATOR pages today with a mega catchy banger in the form of “Phone Tag.” It’s an impressive posse cut from the Philadelphia natives, who show off some tremendous chemistry with their interlocking verses that all add up to a great record that’ll definitely be in rotation for awhile.

Jon Waltz // Riot

@jonwaltz

Jon Waltz unleashed one of 2016’s best songs last week in the form of “Riot,” and I have not been able to stop listening to it. From the cinematic production to the background vocals and Jon’s knockout singing, “Riot” is an absolute hit. He’s been arguably the most consistent and impressive artist I’ve been following the last couple of years, and I cannot wait to hear what else he has on the way.

Renzo // Shotcalla

@renzorari

I stumbled upon Renzo’s recent hit “Shotcalla” recently, and hot damn this joint is good. From the sharp production to his verses and the hook, “Shotcalla” is an infectiously dope cut from the Hawaii native. I don’t know much about him and he doesn’t have much work out, but if this joint is any indication of what’s to come, then we got a potential star on the rise.

Honcho x Yung Pinch // Love To Hate

@honchodasavage | @yungpinch

Yung Pinch is a mainstay here at ELEVATOR, consistently coming with quality heat. Today he’s back and brings his friend Honcho with him on their new collab titled “Love To Hate.” Honcho lays down some great verses over the uptempo, lively production, weaving braggadocios bars with clever rhymes that combine with Pinch’s hook for an all-around bangin’ record.

smokepurpp // All The Time

@smokepurpp | @robmakesbangers

smokepurpp is back with a new banger today entitled “All The Time.” Produced by ROBMAKESBANGERS, lil water comes with some smooth verses and drugged-out flows that all piece together for another gritty record from the Miami native.
