There is no time like the present, and newly formed North American-based production outfit The GVRMNT are harnessing their collective dynamic energy on their breakout instrumental tame The Government Takeover.
Comprised of a four-member core nucleus, including rising Detroit-based producer Mia Jay C, New Jersey sound curator Mohantra, Canadian talent Saj and Alabama-bred beatsmith Cees, The GVRMNT fuse the sound of multiple emerging sub-genres such as Michigan rap and East Coast drill music throughout the tape.
Utilizing the ludicrous domestic terrorism events which unfolded at the United States Capitol building in January on inauguration day, The GVRMNT has crafted a 12-track instrumental mixtape that embodies the brute adrenaline and lawlessness of the insurrection via thunderous 808’s and intricate, layered composition.
With plans of worldwide expansion, The GVRNMNT Takeover is a smoldering indication of the type of heatwave they plan on causing.
The founding-four members already have an impressive collection of production credits amongst themselves to start, with Mia Jay C recently lacing artists such as AZ Chike, Rucci and Boosie Badazz with his signature sonic sauce while Cees, Saj and Mohantana all boast placements with artists such as Curren$y, Stalley, Jacquees and more.
