Emerging pop artist Devin Kennedy has officially released "No Parachute," another bound-to-be hit from this acclaimed musician from Los Angeles. Kennedy's success started with being named Hollywood Music in Media’s “Best New Emerging Artist" in 2018. "No Parachute" follows his hit "Happy Yet," which has over 70k streams on Spotify, adding to Kennedy's 1.8 million streams overall.
Kennedy is a guitarist, drummer, pianist, vocalist, and producer who had written and co-produced three albums by the time he graduated high school. He graduated from the Berklee College of Music, allowing Kennedy to make connections which eventually lead to him opening for big-name artists Ed Sheeren and Coldplay, and eventually going on tour himself in 2019. Kennedy also sells merch.
Kennedy released "No Parachute" with the collaboration of himself, Lukas Costas, and Rebecca Pearl on the writing, and himself again along with Costas on the production. The concept of the song is that there is truly nothing like finding an authentic relationship- a partner that makes you feel like you can be your true self. This is the sort of experience that makes you feel like you're flying, no parachute needed. Listen below!
