Mike Floss is the epitome of a diverse artist. Rather than follow the trends set by the trap and the often vilified Soundcloud scene, Floss opts instead to continue to push the style he has mastered since his 2015 release of his hit single “Dopeboy Dreaming.” His blend of melody and autotune is used in a wildly different way than any other artist trying to mask their poor vocals, instead Floss uses this to accentuate his own tone of speech. His interchanges between singing and rapping, as well as cadence keeps the listener on their collective toes make for a very entertaining listen.

“Fully Loaded” also shows off my favorite aspect of Mike Floss’s music. His ability to build suspense and then crescendo into a beat drop always sits well with me and these are frequently followed by a dramatic lowering in volume, almost to a near whisper after the peak of his vocals.

This track is awesome, and Shmuck the Loyal did a fantastic job on all of the production duties. Go listen to this. You’ll enjoy it.
