Eternally appreciative of the great talent featured on A COLORS SHOW, it’s been proven again today that they just don’t miss when it comes to selecting such vibrant souls to showcase on their platform—Mereba, our newest addition to the archives. The Los Angeles based musician, rapper, pianist & guitarist clearly has more than a few weapons tucked under her belt, as she also began writing at a young age as well.

From growing up in Philadelphia, living in North Carolina, Atlanta, and even spending time in her father’s native country Ethiopia, Mereba seems to have a very soul searching, gypsy-like essence about her, as each location has brought her to meet new revelations about herself and on her journey through music. Introduced to her artistry just last month through a 13-track album, “The Jungle Is The Only Way Out”, which claims features from 6lack & J.I.D., the flowing nature of her voice takes you to one of those places where you imagine yourself flying high, a place where it’s easy to reside in true inner peace. Performing “Stay Tru”, a prominent track from her latest album, Mereba’s enticing energy protrudes strongly from start to finish, guaranteed to bring the goosebumps. Her vocals are defined to me as organic, top shelf and concrete in essence, “wow” factor attached and all.
