With a nod to the late Fredo Santana, Saint Louis’s Matty Wood$ airs out his drug vices on his latest track, “Ill Be Fine.” Matty raps his pains away, as the stress of life pushes him into darker spaces of his addictions.

Matty Wood$ is no stranger to dealing with his bad habits, as his previous mixtapes, titled “Backwood Bandit” and “Dopeboy,” could allude to, but with the recent passing of Fredo Santana, due to health complications around his drug habits, Matty seems to be more aware of the implications his bad habits could lead to. The smooth Parker Jazz production provides the perfect melancholy feel to let Matty Wood$ speak his truths on this recent single.
