A spotlight has been cast upon the Pacific NorthWest music movement at large due to artists such as Lil Mosey and Dave B, breaching the mainstream over the past few years.
Up-and-coming Seattle artist Maribased1 is quickly trailblazing a path to stardom on his own and his latest moody offering “Xucide (Do Or Die)” is a testament to his imminent rise.
Ushering in his new, forthcoming 48Oz album, Maribased1 delves into the darker, more introspective side of his creative genius for the cinematic visual single — which captures him thumbing through cash, zipping through the city in a Porsche, and hanging from the edge of a skyscraper, and so much more.
The release of the video for “Xucide (Do Or Die)” marks a high point for Maribased one, as the visual premiered on BET Jams last month, in addition to his “Bouncin” and “Mystery Girl” singles which also appeared on MTV Jams.
Additionally, Maribased1’s Beat King-produced “48 Ratchet” single recently peaked at #1 on College Radio Station Charts and garnered well over a million combined streams on all platforms.
Not to mention, Maribased1 also managed to fire off his full-length Marriotto 2 project last year with features D Menace, ScottyATL and more.
