I've never been one for music videos with long intros that make the viewer wait forever to get to the actual content, which is why Lyrivelli's new visual for "Don't Cry For Me" caught my attention right away. The moment you hit play, the drums hit you right over the head and the energy doesn't really stop after that. With an album on the way, Lyrivelli shows his chops and ability to stand out from the increasingly cluttered NYC "drill" scene that's become the flavor of the month as of late. Possessing an R&B-leaning feel that tells a story without feeling preachy. I'm into it and with the snow out east last weekend, the video is working time-wise too. Get into it below.
