Lucien Parker comes through today with a collection of tracks that were much needed, his new album, Mephoria. He defines the title as “A state or feeling of intense self-worth, happiness, and introspection”, and that’s a message we can all get behind.

“I know we need music that isn’t ’bout us, no R&B drama // Maybe bout love, and learning to trust yourself a little more” he sings on the first track.

Parker recently moved back to his hometown of Minneapolis from Madison, Wisconsin, and this project could not assert his return any more profoundly. Stream the immaculate new offering below.
