Thanks to the internet, rappers in smaller regional cities are beginning to get a lot more love and attention than ever thought possible before, and the budding rap scene in Louisville, KY is perhaps the perfect example of this. 2kbabysage recently set the streets of Louisville on fire with his summer smash “Old Streets” that is already looking like it has major viral potential after dropping yesterday on Worldstar. This track is a melodic banger propelled by a guitar melody and hard trap drums, that is open enough for Sage to be able to tell his stories easily. He tells a remarkably heartfelt tale and “Old Streets” is effectively his love letter to old times. This is already one of my favorite songs this summer.
