For the past few years, there’s really been an energy buzzing in the London rap scene. Of course, their variations (grime, drill) are prominent, but they’ve equally appealing, more “States-like” sounds as well.
London’s Yung Fume is an artist straddling the lines between subgenres, and he does it well. On Noughts & Crosses 4, his latest project, he provides a crisp flow and impactful production, and it makes for a sound accessible no matter where you are. Such artists as Lil Durk and Yung Tory accompany him on it, and they help give the work flavor and a nuanced vibe.
Listen below to the project, and catch up on Fume’s earlier works if this is the first time you’re getting into him here.
