New York rap pillar Jimi Tents is back with another standout record in the form of “Rick Rubin.” It’s a well-written record that holds a ton of clever rhymes and lines as he pays homage to one of the most well-respected music minds ever, all while rattling some hopes of his as he continues to ascend to (inter)national prominence. He’s without a doubt one of the finest artists of this generation, and I believe he could go down as one of the best emcees of his decade, or even better than that.
