A soundbite of Tyler, the Creator performing Boredom live is not how I expected Uzi’s first official single to start. But then again, what is there to expect about hip-hop’s most explosive artist capable of going on a Da Drought 3 Weezy esque run?

Through all of the bragging, Uzi is still hung up on his girl. He can’t and won’t stop bringing her up. It’s this emotive duality that separates Uzi from the flock, and has built so much anticipation for this electronic song. There’s plenty of fashion talk. He even name-checks Coretta Scott King.
