Since the pandemic hit, Pete took this time to fall back and recalibrate, spending recent years recording consistently and working to perfect his next body of work. The pandemic was a minor setback for a major comeback but it was bad timing because Lil Pete was in the midst of a breakout moment. His debut studio album Hardaway was putting up numbers, he had earned cosigns from West Coast heavyweights like YG and DJ Mustard, and was poised to kick off a tour alongside G Herbo and King Von. nbsp;
Hardaway hosted his biggest collaborations to date with features from Money Man, Dej Loaf and Babyface Ray, and star producers CashMoneyAP, Yung Tago and CardoGotWings. Pete took this time to fall back and recalibrate, spending recent years recording consistently and working to perfect his next body of work. Pete had an album ready for release but with everything happening around him he chose to scrap it and start fresh.
