South Carolina rapper Lil Mexico’s new project “TrenchBaby 2.5” shows several impressive performances from a rapper with a great deal of raw talent and genuine support behind his music. The production across the mixtape was solid and diverse, featuring instrumentals from fellow South Carolinian Jetsonmade, amongst several others. Mexico’s delivery and lyricism improved greatly in places across the fifteen tracks, leaving me wanting more from the budding artist. “TrenchBaby 2.5” saw features from Fredo Bang, Muddy, Guapdamenace, Slimelife Shawty, and NgeeYL. I can’t wait to see what else Mexico has to offer.
