Following a pathetic witch-hunt led by a group of grown men, Lil Dusty G has returned stronger than ever with a new single titled “Insects.” The teenaged Dallas native crawls out of a metaphorical hole across the melodic offering, comparing his need for hibernation to that of ants and beetles.
Painting a picture with his words, Dusty captures the indescribable feeling of emptiness and transports the listener to an underground sanctuary, far away from the harsh realities of society. “Eat my skin down to the bone, take me far away from home where I don’t know,” he sings across the guitar-driven instrumental.
