Lerado Kahlil has just delivered visuals to one of my favorite tracks, and best tracks in my opinion, “Bro Nem” off of his Mildly Happy album back from June. The St. Paul, Minnesota native’s presence on the track is just so unique and prominent and he consistently demonstrates it which makes me question why has this man not blown up yet. The exotic instrumental is provided by Lucas Anderson as he creates such vivid sounds within the beat and propels Lerado’s impactful lyricism. Lerado’s deep voice and passive-aggressive delivery methods are more than appealing as he just glides over the beat with ease as he usually does.
The music video is masterfully shot and edited by Will Tooke and he has done a remarkable job of creating one of the most enticing music videos I have seen in a while. Maybe it is because I am a big fan of That 70’s Show, but the scene where he remakes the famous smoke circle from the TV series just had me smiling from there on out and I highly recommend checking this visual out.
