This is one of the most delightful, relaxing videos I have stumbled upon in the past few months. LE$‘s latest visual honestly takes me back to 2013. Rappers really rapped over chill ass instrumentals and Tumblr was how you found underground artists. “Japan” is truly wavy as fuck, and LE$ simultaneously exhibits his strong rapping skills, as well as ability to construct a mood, and in this case, the mood is remarkably chill.

Aside from LE$’s rapping chops, producer Things With Todd also shines, as his trance-heavy, spaced out instrumental could fit beautifully over the visuals and I would still find this creation delightful.

I love this track and LE$ just breathed a breath of fresh air into my pessimistic view on the future of rap. I strongly urge you to check this video out immediately and remember what rap once was, and what it easily could be again in the future.
