Just a few hours ago, Sun Sentinel reporter Brett Clarkson (who has been following Kodak’s case very closely) announced via Twitter that Kodak Black had been released from jail. Though the Tweet was accompanied by a caption stating: “I’m out of the office so I don’t know if this has been confirmed or not,” the young rapper quickly hopped on Instagram live to inform his loyal fans that he’s now a free man. Additionally, a rep at the Broward County police department confirmed Kodak’s release.
After serving a brief sentence that initially held a maximum penalty of up to 8 years, we’re glad to see Kodak Black prospering in the free world. Stay tuned for more information on the Project Baby’s future plans.
