Ken Carson ventures deep into the woods and rocks out to his hit single from XTENDED, "Freestyle 2".

All you need to know about Ken Carson can be found in the comments under his music videos, it's amazing. For example, user Fada Kayali commented "Who is ken carson? To the blind, he’s the light. To the hungry, he’s bread. To the lonely, he’s company. To the sad, he is joy. For me, he’s everything. being a ken carson fan isn’t just a hobby, it’s a lifestyle[.]" Love him or hate him, he is at the forefront of a cultural movement right now, and people are listening and paying attention. Rocking out in classic Rage fashion as expected, the X Man delivers an unhinged string of verses on "Freestyle 2". Pondering a plethora of existential phenomena, such as "Huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh".

All jokes aside though, and no disrespect; this song is a banger. Every single time I play I just get this crazy surge of adrenaline. It's like an energy drink. From the distorted beat (prod. F1LTHY, Gab3, and Arman Andican), which features a glitchy, dark melody, super aggressive and thrashy drums, some really nice breaks, and this cool little sound effect, it's all out chaos in the best way possible. Combined with Ken delivering line after line in a brash, nonchalant flow off the dome the entire track, it's pure energy. Finally, the music video is wonderful. Directed by Oliver Shore and Kevin von Puttkammer, this visual matches the dark energy of the track exceptionally. Utilizing fast cuts, glitchy effects, fisheye shots, cool angles, and a color grade that reminds me of an old horror movie on VHS, the video is great. Additionally, there is this dark clownlike figure Ken is posted up with in the woods. Carson is holding a barbed wire bat like Negan from the Walking Dead had and rocking out throughout it. Overall, I would say that this track is a capsule of infectious energy, and the music video is a dark, thrilling experience. Definitely go and watch/stream now.
