What inspires your music?
I’ve been quite nomadic throughout the majority of my life and so I’ve heard music from all sorts of different cultures and genres growing up —— even people I’ve met along the way. From Reggae living in Jamaica, to Rock living in Florida, to Hiphop living in New York, my music pallet has always been pretty wide. For me, my sound is a combination of all the experiences I’ve had throughout life.
What major artists could you see yourself collaborating with in the future?
A few major artist come to mind when I think about future collaborations —— 070 Shake for sure, Don Toliver, Gunna, Young Thug, Drake, Reo Cragun, Kanye, Pharrell, and even Kid Cudi
Tell us more about your latest and upcoming releases?
My first project “Enigma” that dropped July 15th —— this project is very dear to me as it’s the first time in my life I’ve ever touched a mic, rap, sing, or even stepped in a studio. I was able to complete this 7 song EP in a little less than two months. This project is unique in a way because I was able to combine all my favorite genres into one sound. My second EP “It’s My Time” is a more balanced version of my sound. This 6 song project was completed in two weeks and is projected to be released this fall. We’re already in talks about the third project, an LP, which is projected for late spring/early summer of 2023
What are your overall goals with your music career?
The goal in mind is to create a more modern version of Hip-hop. I want to be able to tell a story and inspire people all while simultaneously being uplifting. On a more personal level, I want to use my art to support my family and friends — to live a safe and comfortable life and be an example to anyone who finds inspiration through what I do
What words of advice could you share with those inspired by your music?
For anyone listening to my music, I just want them to know that life can be fun and serious at the same time. Everything is all about hard work and paying attention to details, but, you can have so much fun doing all of that at the same time. Life is dark but it’s also beautiful. Ultimately I want people to hear my music and know there’s always a way out, there’s always hope.
