Well, this is incredible. Kali Uchis and Steve Lacy have at long last delivered a vibrant new video for their collaborative effort “Just A Stranger” that finds both at their creative heights. Lacy’s anchoring line of ” She wants my hundred dollar bills, she don’t want love” over Uchis’ musings makes for an incredible pairing.

The visual follows a slew of cash and vivid imagery as Kali is soon seen beachside surrounded by neon-clad groupies and of course, Steve Lacy reminding us all what they’re really after. The cinematography of the video is truly impressive as Uchis finds a message in a bottle shortly before gathering friends for an ocean journey only to be enveloped by a tornado of crisp hundreds.
