Jay Wood, a member of Chicago’s hip-hop collective Freesole, released his new project “RAIN.” This project is the follow up to his 2016 mixtape entitled “Self Doubt.”

His new collection of art spans over about 30 minutes and is jam-packed with both lyrical and melodic waves. Wood finds the perfect balance between ego and emotion as he explains both his reality and his mentality over beautifully produced records.

“RAIN.” features production and guest appearances from artists such as Banks The Genius and Femdot respectively. Whether it is a cloudy day or if there are clear blue skies, “RAIN.” is bound hit with an eclectic audience.
