J. Cole's much-awaited return to the music scene is here and fans alike as well as myself are very excited. Last night, he dropped Lewis Street, a two-pack that consists of two very amazing singles: "The Climb Back" and "Lion On Ice." The singles are set to arrive on the North Carolina rapper's sixth full-length album, which was slated to drop in Fall, but Cole emphasized that he was taking his time with this project.

807 Lewis Street is the address of the home in the artwork, in which a dog on a leash can be seen moving vigorously. It's located in Fayetteville, NC, where Cole his family lived up until the point they moved to 2014 Forest Hills Drive. "The Climb Back" is produced by T-Minus and Cole while "Lion On Ice" includes production from T-Minus, Cole, and jetsonmade's hard-hitting 808's.

"Lion On Ice" is an obvious reference to Cole's Young Simba installment, except this time we get a much wiser perspective of the rapper as he discusses growing up in Fayetteville and wanting to prove himself in his early years of the game. "These niggas be lookin' at me like I got it / Deep down inside, though, I still feel as broke / As that nigga who just graduated from college," he raps. Check out the two-pack below.
