IshDarr is all about progress. His latest album Slow Down, KID pounded the idea into our heads that we can do anything with some patience and mindfulness, an important message for people of all ages, not just the youth.

Now the Wisconsin-born lyricist has linked up with one of his go-to directors, Brett Schmidt, for a new pair of visuals to accompany “Slow Down”, the second track off of his recent full-length. Throughout the video, IshDarr finds himself surrounded by images of growth, from kids running sprints on a basketball court to plants sprouting out of dirt piles in an abandoned building. The imagery serves as a reminder that one’s starting circumstances don’t matter, the paced-out development of oneself should be the focus.
