As melodic flows and genre-bending production continues to deeply permeate within Hip Hop, artists like California-based punk-rapper iHateKaye continue to emerge by testing sonic boundaries.
In his latest effort "Disease," the Rich Heart Records signee invokes angst and anguish into the sub-trap sadboy emulating production as he unloads and gets candid about his past relationships and being stuck in his head — referring to it as a disease as the main trope of the song.
"I don't want to go outside/I don't wanna die I wanna see the other side/Ex-bitch hit my phone again/I'm texting her to slide," iHateKaye raps on the intro verse.
With a style that channels artists such as Lil Peep and Yung Pinch, iHateKaye is proving why he belongs by essential creating a viable space within the industry to settle into the hybrid groves he's carving out.
The California native recently delivered his Rich Heart Records debut single "Incase" in addition to his fan-favorite "Mad" single last month, also.
