Jay IDK is a surging artist who has just unleashed a vibrant new single titled, “Digital”, which is brilliantly produced by Kal Banx. IDK wisely adopts multiple flows on this euphoric instrumental cooked up by Kal as he takes on a melodic yet choppy chorus to anchor the track as an entirety. “Flashback, digital dash” is by far the most repetitive and memorable line on the song as IDK compliments those very lyrics with retrospective glimpses of IDK’s life as a crime-committing person. He prudently sets up a specific past experience and then concludes the line with “now he a good boy, used to be bad” after the creative rhyming prior.

This is only IDK’s second release of the year but judging on some of the artists he has surrounded himself within the past year like Denzel Curry and Joey Bada$$ it lines up an inevitable blockbuster year for the ascending artist. He possesses the knowledge to surround himself with some of the best as that is truly one of the best ways to further improve in his own lane. IDK is quickly building on his evolving sound and it is exciting to see his progression as he should not plan on slowing his roll.
