When news broke about the passing of Houston rapper Sad Frosty, fans couldn’t believe it. The first claims of the rappers death came from unconfirmed rumors that fans initially disregarded due to the fact Frosty was known to be an internet troll.

Unfortunately on January 16th a post was published to Sad Frosty’s instagram page confirming the tragic news. The post showcases some of Frosty’s best moments along with the caption “Long Live Sad Frosty 3/4/97 - 1/14/22”

After the news broke, DC The Don (Frosty’s long time friend) took to Twitter with some words about his friends passing.

At the moment the cause of death is still unconfirmed. DomIsLive News took to Twitter to tell Frosty fans that he had recently spoken to the rapper about his rehab journey and that he suspects that the cause of death was an accidental overdose.

Hundreds of rappers, artists, and fans have flooded Instagram over the past two days with pictures and condolences for Sad Frosty.
